6. What are the Masonic ideals that Freemasons try to practice?
They are expressed in several ways, one of which is
Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Liberty is the freedom of individuals to
follow their own conscience and to develop their intellectual capacities. Equality is the
recognition that all human beings are basically alike in their physical, mental, and
spiritual natures and are deserving of respect. Fraternity is the mutual commitment we all
have to support and assist one another.
